Captain Marcus Harrington commands the Intrepid with a reputation as one of the Assembly’s most skilled and charismatic leaders. Known for his tactical insight and his innate ability to inspire loyalty among his crew, Marcus has spent the majority of his career aboard the Intrepid, forging deep connections with its crew. Despite being under the command of the higher-ranked but less beloved Commodore Anatoly, Marcus has the respect of his team who often wonder why he isn't the one leading the fleet.

Marcus’s journey began as a legionnaire in the engineering department of a Protector class cruiser based out of Mars' fleetyard. He first met Jane Mitchell at Mars University; since then, she's been his partner of ten years. Their relationship, marked by mutual respect and admiration, has weathered the strain of long missions and duty to the Assembly, though Marcus often wishes he could spend more time with her. Deeply committed to protecting the Assembly and its citizens, he knows the sacrifices he makes are essential to the greater good.
